Much effort is scheduled towards organizing events and celebrations that occur on Republic Day in India. Large military parades are located in New Delhi along with the state capitals. Representatives from the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force and traditional dance troupes play in the parades.
A wonderful parade is held in New Delhi as well as the event starts off with India’s prime minister laying a wreath at the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate, to recollect soldiers who sacrificed their lives for their country. India’s president takes the military salute in the parade in New Delhi while state governors consider the military salutes in state capitals. A foreign head of state is the president’s chief guest on Republic Day.
Awards and medals of bravery receive to folks through the military as well as civilians. Helicopters through the military then fly after dark parade area showering rose petals on the audience. School children also have fun with the parade by dancing and singing patriotic songs. Armed Forces personnel also showcase motorcycle rides. The parade concludes which has a “fly past” through the Indian Air Force, involving fighter planes of flying past the dais, symbolically saluting the president. These leave trails of smoke within the colors from the Indian flag.
There are several national and native cultural programs emphasizing the culture and history of India. Children have a very special devote these programs. Many children receive gifts of sweets or small toys. A leading minister’s rally also comes about with this in mind time, and also the Lok Tarang 2013 National Folk Dance Festival, which occurs annually from January 24-29.
