Eid al-Adha 2014, Bakri Eid, When is Eid Al-Adha, Meaning, Wiki :-Eid Al-Adha is the festival of Islamic religion people which is also known as Bakri Eid which falls after the Eil Al Fitr festival. Eid Al-Adha is also known as the Feast of the Sacrifice. The second religious holiday celebrated by the Muslim people worldwide is the Eid al Adha. On this day all the schools, colleges and offices has an off. The festival is celebrated in the willingness of Abraham, who sacrificed his first born son named Ishmael on the Command of God, then later on God asked Abraham to sacrifice a lamb instead of his son. So from that day itself all the Muslim people sacrifice a lame against God in order to wash all their sins.

WHAT PEOPLE DO ON EID AL ADHA


On the day of Eid Al Adha many of the Muslim people visit the Mosque to pray for Allah and listen to the sermon that is been read in the Mosque. The people wear new Cloths on the day of Eid al Adha and visit their family and friends place, and in the act named as Qurbani, they sacrifice an animal. The animal is represented as the animal that Abraham place in place of his son.

In most of the Muslim traditional countries the people come together as families and Groups and own an animal as sheep or a goat and give their sacrifice. The act of sacrificing an animal is not allowed in several parts of United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada and many other countries. On this day people also help poor people by giving them money, food and clothes. The meat based meal is made on this day, and is also people of higher or richer community feed the people of lower community.

EID AL ADHA WIKI, MEANING


During the festival of Eid Al Adha, most of the Muslim people travel the Holy place of Islamic Religion Place, the Mecca, that is situated in Saudi Arabia which is also known as Hajj Pilgrimage. The most of the people save money the complete year just to be a part of this event, as this is one of the Five Pillars of Islam. Holiday packages are also organised by most of the countries in order to be a part of the event in Saudi Arabia. Only Muslims are allowed to visit this place, it is believed that once you visit the Mecca and drink the water present in the Hajj and place your head to the black spiritual stone at Hajj your all sins are washed away, and you are as similar to a new born baby, in terms of Sins.
